As we move into our 50th year we will be trialing some new ways to make it easier for more people to get involved, so that you can also be part of our growing community - in your time, in your way. As part of this, we are very excited to invite you to be part of brand new Team at Bayside, The Bayside United Grass Boots Team (like grass roots, but cooler, right?).

Bayside United FC would like to thank Waterloo Bay Hotel for their sponsorship.

  • Our club has become an amazing place to be in 2023 and we are getting ready for an even better 2024!

Our Committee and wonderful volunteers have worked tirelessly over the years to create a community club that is about friends, family and football.

WHO CAN BE PART OF OUR GRASS ROOTS TEAM?
Anyone! Players, Mum's, Dad's, Grandparents and friends.

WHAT WOULD I HAVE TO DO?
As tasks come up, we will send out a request for help. You simply let us know if you are available and assign yourself to a time slot or task. These tasks might include things like:

. Setting up our BBQ on Saturday mornings
. Taking our wheelie bins in and out on bin day
. Collecting wood for our pizza oven
. Splitting and stacking the wood for our pizza oven
    . Working bees
    . Fixing our nets
. Taking rubbish to the tip
    . Basic maintenance and cleaning
. Helping at social events and fundraisers (like the Bunning's Sausage Sizzle we've got coming up ??)
    . Refereeing
. And more. Many hands make light work!

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE ALOT OF TIME TO SHARE?
We truly understand that everyone is busy juggling work, family and other day to day pressures. Your time, no matter how much you can offer us will be appreciated. We will make every effort to break tasks down into smaller jobs to help those who can only lend an hour here and there.

    TELL ME THE PERKS?
. Hang with our community. They are an extraordinary bunch of people!
. Receive a volunteer rebate at the end of the season if you volunteer 6 or more hours (hours must be
registered and verified in our system)
. Promote your small business (if you have one) within our community.

What do you reckon? Do you have a heart of grass?

    2024. More than a game.
